We provide for nonprofits to gather online to experience LWL’s customized learning environment.

Every nonprofit receives

  • 25+ hours of curriculum that combines education, cohort community, and meaningful applied learning experiences.

  • 36+ hours of additional discussion with peers in optional opt-in small groups.

  • An assigned accountability coach to meet with monthly to ensure goals are being met.

  • Unlimited access to the online teaching platform of the trainings, resources, templates.

  • Membership to the community of engaged nonprofit professionals and leaders.

Curriculum and Discussion Topics

LWL brings to the table the most pressing challenges. Our combined step-by-step system and emergent process allow for real-time support and problem-solving.

Discussions are led by leading experts in legacy giving, non-cash assets, nonprofit law, investment management, and fundraising in experiential learning settings, small group discussions, and guest panel discussions.

The investment in the LWL program is:

$15,500 per organization, all-inclusive.

Frequently Asked Questions

Lead with Legacy Program

  • Lead With Legacy is a high-touch program where customized support is provided. Therefore we limit each cohort to 10 organizations.

  • We have three open enrollments each year. If you have a group of at least five organizations that want to form a cohort we can initiate that group at different times of the year.

  • As with most things, the more time you devote to the program the better your results. Past participants have stated they see great results with a range of 1-5 hours per week (in program time + implementation on their own).

  • Each organization selects three priority goals to work on for the year. Our team assists each organization in selecting their goals and then the projects needed to reach them.

  • Projects are dependent on the goals each organization’s choices; common ones are building a sustainable legacy giving or endowment program by having donor conversations, crafting a case statement, creating policies and workflows, creating marketing plans and collateral materials, and launching a legacy society.

  • Yes, absolutely. Access to the program is per organization, not per person. The fee allows professionals and board members of the organization to join live sessions and have access to the learning platform.

  • This is dependent on participants goals. Some organizations are working on a small number of high-level gifts to endowment, and some are looking to reach a wider net.  We see most organizations bring in a range of 1-20+ for the year.

  • The investment for Lead With Legacy is $15,500 for the year per organization. The fee covers the organization and its professionals and board members that wish to participate.  Payments are accepted either in full or quarterly.

  • We offer a mastermind program for participants of the 12 month Lead With Legacy program.  It offers personalized support in order for organizations to continue to implement what they have learned.
